March 16th, 2009Ever since I reviewed the Firefox add-on Glubble, an add-on to make web browsing safe for the kiddos, I’ve noticed many other web browsers for children. I finally sat down and put them all together so the would be available all in one place.
As my oldest daughter gets more and more computer literate, I’m becoming more and more aware of her stumbling across something age inappropriate online. Whether she finds it accidentally or on purpose, I want to be aware and “in-the-know” about available technology to keep her online experience safe and educational.

The internet contains a lot of information, parents and teachers can be overwhelmed when it comes topicking the best ones for their children. I have compiled a list of 15 very good sites which some of you may already know and others may find very useful. I did not rank them from 1 to 15 as not to bias your opinions and let you decide. This is not a perfect list by any means but I have found these sites some of the more interesting and educational. Finding Your RSS Feed URL
March 15th, 2009There are times when you want to tell someone your site’s feed address or URL, or you need it to submit it to search engines and directories, many of which now accept feed URL submissions. There are four possible URLs for each of your feeds. Any of these will work.
